The AZW files are saved in /Documents/My Kindle Content. Syncing restored, but be aware that the App store version of Kindle is an old build. Don’t forget to make a new icon for your Dock by dragging the Kindle app over from Finder. Click on the App Store icon on the Dock, search for Kindle and install. In order to show calibre in a different language, open the preferences (by pressing ⌘+P) and select your language. You must drag it to a folder on your filesystem (The Desktop, Applications, wherever).
Then simply re-download Kindle For Mac from the Mac App Store. Hold down the Ctrl key, click on the Trash and select Empty Trash.
